zines!
sven & i got to talking about zines today to see if that would be a small-step way to work on publishing the youthlib essays. zines could then move to small books, and then compiled into a larger book. sven was so excited he's already made a mockup (in word!).
other potential items of interest: 1. collapsing notepad & generator together so that generator becomes a place for all types of content, categorized by type of essay (fragment, exploration, draft, essay etc.). each type would have a different template including a colored label & explanatory text. we would need to use the import/export feature or sven says we could take an afternoon and move them manually.
- zine subscriptions could include artwork and other outside contributions; hopefully, they could even get paid. it would be a good reason to get a paypal account and have a "subscriptions AT youthlib.com" address. getting outside contributions might require the help of an editor (carl?).
