Added Recent Comments Tracking
Added a "recent comments" section to the sidebar so non-item-owners can easily spot whether a new comment has been added that might warrant attention/feedback without having to check down the length of the page. Holler if it offends and I'll pluck it back out.

Oooooh. I like the "recent comments" collumn on Dev. Excellent addition!
...I wonder if we ought to add similar "recent comments" collumns to Notepad and/or Generator? Opinions?

nifty! thanks! i saw you had done that on your own blog & i was gonna ask about it. :) i'm guessing this bit is obvious in the template so we can add it to notepad, as sven suggests?

I put a comment in where I added the code that handles it. It's pretty easy to pick out, and since none of the templates around youthlib.com stray very far from vanilla, it'll be pretty easy to add it to any of them.
